The Novozavodskyi District Court of Chernihiv found guilty a blogger who incited violence against representatives of Territorial Recruitment Centers and spread anti-Semitic statements.
As reported by the "Court Reporter", the verdict was passed on October 24, 2025.
In July 2023, a man who runs a YouTube channel called “Ordinary Guy” published a video titled “Against the TCC’s Shabolds. SELF-DEFENSE. Hammer, stones, salt, pepper, sand, citric acid, gasoline, fittings.” In the video, he demonstrated the tools he advised to “defend” against TCC representatives, effectively calling for the use of force against military commissars.
Two months later, the blogger posted another video titled "The Most Cruel Shopping Mall Employees in Ukraine," in which he called employees by name, showed their faces and where they were, and spread openly aggressive and dangerous appeals.
In addition, videos with anti-Semitic statements were found on his channel. During the trial, the accused tried to justify himself, stating that he had no hatred for the Jewish people and that the posts were made by his moderator.
According to the court, the man is a native of the Republic of Sakha (Russian Federation) and was already wanted for evading mobilization at the time of his arrest in April 2024. In court, he refused to recognize himself as a citizen of Ukraine, claiming that he was “born in the USSR” and did not recognize the legitimacy of Ukrainian military structures.
A psychiatric examination found the man had an emotionally unstable personality disorder, but found that he was able to be aware of his actions and control them.
The court found the blogger guilty of obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and inciting national hatred. He was sentenced to five years in prison.
