The Kyiv Prosecutor's Office has annulled the decision of the Kyiv City Council, which planned to allocate a land plot for the installation of a kiosk, through the court. This was reported by the head of the Public Council under the Kyiv City State Administration, Hennadiy Kryvosheya, on his Facebook page.
This is a plot of land on 23v Heroes of Sevastopol Street. According to Kryvosheya, last year during a meeting of the land commission, public activists presented arguments against this decision. The documents indicated fictitious property, and the company to which the land was planned to be transferred had no income and no real assets, except for a metal garage.
Despite this, the deputies of the relevant commission voted to transfer the hectare to the combiners, which raised suspicions of corruption in the decision. The court declared such actions illegal, overturning the relevant decision of the Kyiv City Council.
This decision by the prosecutor's office is another step in the fight against corruption and illegal disposal of capital land.
