Creation of a new coalition and a government of national stability: what is happening in the Servant of the People faction

The internal political confrontation in the Servant of the People faction is intensifying against the backdrop of the corruption scandal surrounding the Mindich case. Some MPs made a public statement about the need to form a new coalition and a government of national stability, emphasizing that in the current situation "there should be no untouchables." They called for the immediate release of all those involved in the high-profile case and full support for the NABU and the SAPO.

The statement was initiated by deputies, including People's Deputy Mykyta Poturayev, who claim that the parliament needs a rebooted executive branch without backroom influence and political quotas. Instead, the faction is witnessing increasing confrontation between groups of deputies: some are losing control over financial flows, while others are trying to maintain dominance in certain regulatory areas.

Of particular note is the activity of Danylo Hetmantsev, who, according to parliamentary sources, seeks to restore influence in the regulatory and financial sectors, including the lottery market. The political turbulence is exacerbated by the fact that part of the faction is trying to use the anti-corruption resonance as a tool for its own political positioning and struggle for control over key areas.

At the same time, the deputies who spoke in favor of the creation of a government of national stability emphasize: the new Cabinet of Ministers should be formed without party quotas, exclusively from specialists with an impeccable reputation. The main requirements are the priority of defense capability, economic stability, energy security, and real counteraction to corruption at the highest level. In their opinion, the country cannot afford political games when the security of the state and the trust of citizens are at stake.

The situation in the Verkhovna Rada indicates that the struggle for influence within the faction continues, and its outcome could significantly change the political landscape before decisions are made on the future government.
