Deputy Head of the Prydniprovsky District of the State Environmental Inspectorate, Dmytro Shybko, is accumulating luxury real estate through suspicious schemes and understated prices. This is evidenced by data on the property of the official and his family.
Thus, in early 2022, Shybo's mother, Natalia, purchased a house in Dnipro with an area of 201 m² for 1.2 million UAH (≈43 thousand dollars). According to experts, the price is 3–8 times lower than the market price. In 2023, Natalia gave Dmytro an apartment on Pechersk in Kyiv with an area of 72 m², registering its value at 200 thousand UAH, although the real price of such housing exceeds 150 thousand dollars.
Interestingly, at the age of 20, the official's son, Roman Shibko, bought an apartment in the center of Kyiv on B. Khmelnytskyi Street with an area of 246 m². In 2013, its cost exceeded 500 thousand dollars. Later, Roman gave the apartment to his sister as a gift.
The official's wife, Yulia Shibko, owns a 123 m² apartment in the elite Delmar residential complex and a 320 m² cottage on the banks of the Samara River.
Earlier, in 2019, Dmytro Shybok was already detained for accepting a bribe, but the case did not result in imprisonment. Such facts raise questions about the transparency of the origin of the property and the compliance of the official's declarations.
