During the night attack of the Russian troops on Ukraine, one of the industrial facilities in the Ternopil region was hit, which caused a large-scale fire. This was announced by the Ternopil Regional Military Administration (OVA) in its Telegram channel.
According to OVA, 45 rescuers and 12 units of special equipment of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) were immediately sent to the scene of the incident, as well as 12 employees of the National Police who worked with four units of equipment. Thanks to coordinated and professional actions, it was possible to quickly localize and eliminate the fire.
Despite the significant impact, there were no casualties or injuries. The Ministry of Internal Affairs published photos of the aftermath of the attack, which show the scale of the damage.
This is not the first case of an attack on critical infrastructure in Ukraine, but the promptness of the actions of rescuers and law enforcement once again helped to avoid human losses and minimize the consequences.
