Deputy Chief of the Police Department in Zaporizhia Oblast, Chief of Investigation Ruslan Usmanov, declared a significant amount of cash and new real estate for the family, sources analyzing the declarations report.
A police colonel, a native of Pervomaisk in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region, currently lives in Zaporizhia. Ruslan Usmanov owns a 1,500 m² plot of land in the village of Khryashchivka in the occupied part of Luhansk region, purchased back in 2008.
For 2024, the police officer officially received 1.12 million hryvnia in cash benefits, 1,000 hryvnia in one-time compensation for veterans, and 4,000 hryvnia in social benefits as an internally displaced person. No other income was indicated in the declaration.
The section on monetary assets attracts particular attention: Ruslan Usmanov keeps $40.5 thousand in cash, while his bank accounts at PrivatBank and Oschadbank contain only 30.5 thousand hryvnias.
The policeman's family did not declare any cars, valuable movable property, corporate rights, or other investments. Instead, in 2023, they purchased a 50.6 m² apartment in Sofiivska Borshchagovka near Kyiv for 2.62 million hryvnias in joint ownership with their son and mother (Valentina Usmanova).
