The High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) has partially satisfied the claim of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) to declare the actions of the head of the Department of Combating Drug Crime of the National Police of Ukraine unfounded. Part of the official's property will be confiscated as state revenue.
This is reported by "Law and Business" with reference to the NACP.
This is about half of an apartment in the capital worth over UAH 1.8 million, which the official and his wife purchased in 2021.
While monitoring the official's lifestyle, the NACP established the spouses' inability to purchase the specified real estate with funds obtained from legal sources.
The court's decision may be appealed to the Appeals Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice within 30 days from the date of its announcement.
