The Head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region, Oleksandr Shlyakhovskyi, and his family own significant assets, most of which are registered in the name of his wife, Iryna Shlyakhovskyi.
In particular, Iryna is the owner of a large plot of land near Kyiv — in the village of Dudarkiv, a total of about 150 acres, which according to market estimates can be valued at almost 4 million UAH. The couple also has several apartments in Kyiv and uses housing in Brovary, which belongs to a relative; in Lviv, they live under a sublease agreement. Shlyakhovsky himself does not have his own registered housing or car — in the spouses' declarations, most of the property is listed as belonging to his wife.
Iryna purchased a 2017 Mazda 3 for significantly less than market value, with part of the money allegedly being a gift from a relative. Last year, Shlyakhovsky declared over a million hryvnias in income from his work in the police force and additional amounts from the sale of real estate; the couple also declared cash savings.
Iryna Shlyakhovska has repeatedly applied for the position of judge, and open registers show the family's connections with several enterprises and individuals associated with business and public organizations. The publication contains no official comments from Shlyakhovska himself or from the National Police; additional documents and a reaction from the official are needed to fully verify the facts.
