According to our sources, former Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov could have left Ukraine due to the NABU investigation into corruption schemes in the defense sector.
As a reminder, on June 30, 2025, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted searches at the former Minister of Defense Oleksiy Reznikov's residence as part of the case of purchasing food for the army at inflated prices, the so-called "chicken eggs for 17 hryvnias" case. According to media , the ex-minister was searched, a number of important documents were seized from him, "a left-handed phone and something else were found."
According to our source, former Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov has already left the country, or at least should have, as he fears that he will be "laid as a sacrifice on the altar" as part of the NABU special operation to investigate embezzlement in the defense sector.
