A teenager was riding a scooter and collided with a car in the Mostyska community in the Lviv region

On October 9, a road accident involving a 13-year-old teenager who was driving a scooter occurred in the village of Arlamivska Volya, Mostyska community, Lviv region. The accident occurred at around 5:00 p.m. when the Mustang scooter collided with a Dacia Sandero car driven by a 64-year-old resident of the village.

As a result of the collision, the teenager was hospitalized to a local hospital with a laceration and an open fracture of his right leg. The circumstances of the accident are currently being determined by investigative authorities.

It is worth noting that under Ukrainian law, driving a scooter or moped is allowed from the age of 16, provided that you have a category A1 driver's license. The incident highlights the importance of following traffic rules and age restrictions for drivers.
