The situation in the Pokrovsk direction remains one of the most tense along the entire front line. Russian troops continue to attempt to capture Pokrovsk and Myrnograd in Donetsk region, expanding their presence in the city and trying to establish physical control over individual neighborhoods.
According to the DeepState monitoring project, the enemy is advancing in small groups, scattering across the central and northern areas of Pokrovsk. There are more and more Russian units in these locations. Ukrainian units are conducting sweeps, but the key work is now being done by pilots of strike and reconnaissance drones, who are hunting enemy groups around the clock.
However, even after Ukrainian forces knock the enemy out of individual neighborhoods, the Russians have the ability to quickly transfer new infantry groups into already cleared areas, which makes it difficult to stabilize the front.
DeepState calls the area between Pokrovskoye and Krasny Lyman, as well as the area around the settlement of Rivne, particularly problematic. Enemy movements are constantly being recorded here, ambushes are taking place, the occupiers are actively mining the area and erecting engineering barriers. This creates significant risks for logistics and movement towards Myrnograd.
According to analysts, the delivery of ammunition and equipment is now actually carried out using ground robotic complexes and drones. Traditional equipment or vehicles have long been out of use - any advance of manpower in this area is almost guaranteed to end in contact with the enemy.
The military also reports that due to the complexity of the situation, individual units are receiving additional tasks to hold the "isthmus", which is critical for logistics. This requires additional forces, and the soldiers emphasize that it would be more expedient to strengthen this area with individual units in order to relieve other brigades.
Despite the critical nature of the combat situation, the battle for Pokrovsk and Mirnograd continues. Ukrainian forces continue to contain the offensive, using maximum technological means, while the Russian army tries to gain a foothold in the urban agglomeration.
