Vitaliy Kozlovskyi has for the first time spoken in detail about the cost of finally ending his long-standing conflict with ex-producer Igor Kondratyuk. This became known from the new issue of the project "33 Questions from Lux FM", where the singer shared personal details of the difficult decision and the search for funds.
According to the artist, his family played a key role in putting an end to the story. On the eve of his 40th birthday, Kozlovsky decided not to postpone the issue any longer and unexpectedly called Kondratyuk's lawyer with a proposal to come to an agreement.
The singer admitted that the day of this call was symbolic for him. After leaving the house, he went to the embankment with coffee, looked at the sky and mentally addressed his father, who died in August 2021. After that, he called lawyer Kondratyuk, who at first did not even believe that it was Kozlovsky who was calling. During the conversation, the parties began to discuss the conditions for ending the conflict and the amount of payments.
The artist admits that the amount in question was completely unaffordable for him at the time. He tried to borrow money in installments from various people, but almost everyone refused, even despite promises to repay the debt under any circumstances.
The only person who agreed to help was the singer's godfather. Kozlovsky said that he honestly admitted that he and his partners doubted that the artist would be able to return the money. Despite this, the godfather still provided a loan, understanding the risks. For Kozlovsky, this step was especially valuable and decisive.
In the end, the singer sold his parents' apartment, added borrowed funds, and paid Igor Kondratyuk in full. According to him, the amount involved is between $120,000 and $150,000.
