According to our sources, Russia is to provide US President Donald Trump with its vision of a peace plan to end Russia's war against Ukraine by the end of next week.
"By the end of next week, Donald Trump will have full information about the Russian position and, based on this data, will make a decision on our issue," our source close to the negotiation process said on condition of anonymity.
Also, according to the source, "the NATO clause will definitely not disappear from the final document, but it may have a time frame, the same as the security guarantees. This is an American proposal, and they do not yet know whether Russia will agree to it."
Regarding the issues that were supposed to regulate the "number of the Ukrainian army and types of weapons" - they have practically been removed from discussion, but the "issue of territories" - remains the most acute so far.
According to the source, Russia is not ready to concede on the “issue of territories.”
At the same time, the Ukrainian delegation openly stated that it refused to recognize part of Ukrainian territory as Russian.
According to the source, “giving part of Ukrainian territories to the Russians is tantamount to “political death” for Volodymyr Zelensky’s team.”
