Before the weekend, on Friday, October 24, the weather in Ukraine is expected to deteriorate. Rain will come from the west to the country, which will move deeper into the territory during the day. Only the east and northeast will remain without precipitation, but cloudiness will increase here. Along with the rain, the wind will increase, although the temperature will not change significantly - only in the west it will become a little cooler.
The west of Ukraine
In the west on October 24, cloudy weather with rain will prevail. In Lviv, Lutsk, Rivne, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi, the temperature during the day will be +14°…+15°, and at night about +9°. In Uzhhorod, it will be a little cooler — +13° during the day, +9° at night.
Central regions
Precipitation is also expected in the central part of the country. In Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Cherkasy and Kropyvnytskyi it will be cloudy, the air will warm up to +15° during the day, +7° at night. In Poltava without significant precipitation, but cloudy, the temperature +6°…+15°.
South
In the south, rain will fall in Odessa, Kherson, Zaporizhia, and Simferopol. In these cities, daytime temperatures will range from +16° to +18°, and at night — around +7°. In Mykolaiv — cloudy, but without significant precipitation.
North
In Kyiv, Chernihiv and Zhytomyr, cloudy weather with rain is expected. In the capital, the temperature at night will be +8°, in the daytime +14°. In Chernihiv, in the daytime +15°, in Zhytomyr - the same temperature. The wind will increase to moderate.
East
In the east of the country, no rain is yet forecast, but cloudiness will increase. In Sumy and Kharkiv, it will be cloudy, daytime temperatures will be +15°, at night +3°…+5°. In Kramatorsk and Severodonetsk, it will be cloudy with clearings, daytime temperatures will be +12°…+15°.
So, Friday in Ukraine will be cool, humid, and windy. A further drop in temperature is expected in the coming days, especially in the west, so it's worth preparing for typical autumn weather - with rain, wind, and clouds.
