People's Deputy and Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Development Dmytro Natalukha stated on the air of “1+1” that in Ukraine the volume of “shadow economic booking” during mobilization is estimated at $700 million to $2 billion per year. According to him, these amounts represent bribes that Ukrainians pay to avoid military service.

Natalukha emphasized that these figures are the most adequate estimates at the moment. He emphasized that the problem of “shadow economic reservation” is of significant scale, and this creates serious challenges for the mobilization system and the country's defense capability.
The mobilization process in Ukraine
Against the backdrop of active mobilization in Ukraine, which continues until July 16, conscripts must update their data. According to Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Kateryna Chernogorenko, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine determines the needs for mobilization based on certain criteria, such as professional skills, age, and lack of reservation. After that, the CCK and the SP form lists for sending out summonses, and the further process includes clarifying the data and passing the military medical commission (VLK).
