On November 27, the State Security Department of Ukraine concluded an agreement with Grand Motor LLC for the supply of three specialized passenger cars for a total amount of UAH 8.82 million, according to the Prozorro system.
SKSTPR-PS cars will be manufactured on the basis of Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 2.8 L 8AT 2025 model year, in Elegance trim. The cost of one car is UAH 2.94 million. The warranty on the car itself is three years or 100 thousand km, and on additional and specialized equipment - half a year.
The all-wheel drive cars are equipped with a 2.8-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 205 hp, an eight-speed automatic transmission, front and side airbags, a driver's knee airbag, rear and front curtain airbags, a rearview camera, climate control and cruise control.
Additionally, the cars will receive protective film, winter tires, engine and transmission protection, mats and shoes. Specialized equipment includes a loudspeaker, flashing beacons, radio training and a radiator grille.
The order was placed without competition, as Grand Motor was the only participant in the open bidding. The company belongs to Tetyana Dereshuk and Maria Gvozdova, former mayor of Krasylov in the Khmelnytskyi region. The company was founded in 2006 by former MP from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc Mykhailo Gvozdova, and its director is Serhiy Bodnarchuk.
The purchase of the cars attracted attention due to high prices and lack of competition in the tender, as well as due to specialized equipment, including alarm and security systems.
