On December 25, a tragic traffic accident involving two cars occurred in Vinnytsia region, as a result of which four people died and two others were seriously injured.
The accident happened in the morning between the villages of Tarasivka and Chechelivka of the Haysyn district. According to the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Vinnytsia region, two passenger cars — a Subaru and a Geely — collided.
The rescuers had to use special equipment to unblock the bodies of the dead from mutilated cars.
The police are currently investigating the cause of the collision. According to preliminary data, the tragedy could have been caused by adverse weather conditions, speeding or non-observance of traffic rules.
The State Emergency Service once again reminds of the need to observe road safety rules, especially in the winter, when weather conditions significantly complicate traffic.
This tragedy is yet another reminder of the importance of responsible driving.
