As a result of new shelling in the Kharkiv region, residential buildings, shops, cars and other infrastructure were destroyed. The Russian attacks killed two people and injured several civilians, including people of all ages. Due to the danger, 53 people were evacuated from the most affected regions.
This was announced by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synegubov, adding that the situation in the region remains difficult.

In Kharkiv itself, as a result of shelling, shops and windows of several apartment buildings were damaged and a 64-year-old woman was injured. On the territory of Chuguyiv district, during the second attack, two apartments in a high-rise building caught fire. Two residents were also injured - a 36-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman. Debris of the downed drone hit the roof of the building, damaging windows and five cars.
In the Borivska community of the Izyum district, debris from a car hit a local store. Russian shelling damaged several residential buildings in Kupyansk. Three men aged 35, 49 and 61 were injured.
Private households and high-rise buildings suffered the greatest destruction. Up to 40 garages were destroyed in the Kupyan district, a man and a woman were killed. In the village of Prudyanka, Kharkiv district, five private houses and a car were damaged, and a 60-year-old man was injured.
Nine combat clashes took place in the Kupyansk direction over the past day. Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to repulse enemy attacks in Kucherivka, Kruglyakivka and Lozovoy districts. Due to the danger, 53 people were evacuated from the districts of Kupyanskyi and Borivskyi directions, who will be temporarily placed in safe regions.
Oleg Synegubov noted that aid to the affected areas is being provided promptly, and work is ongoing to restore critical infrastructure. The Ukrainian authorities continue to call on the international community to strengthen sanctions against Russia, which is waging an aggressive war against the civilian population of Ukraine.
