Tragic feast in Grishkivtsi: participants drank over the body of a dead woman

On the morning of April 29, a woman's body was found in Gryshkivtsi village in Zhytomyr region. According to the Berdychiv District Police Department, a 34-year-old resident of Berdichev died as a result of severe head injuries.

An investigative-operative group arrived at the tragedy, which found out that on the eve of the evening, a feast was held at a local house. Among the audience was also killed. In the midst of the evening, a 37-year-old man suddenly broke into the house-a fellow villager-who pulled the woman, hit her on the head several times and went out. Other members of the company ignored the incident and continued to drink. Only in the morning did they find that the woman was dead.

According to preliminary information, the suspect confused the victim with his wife, with whom he had a conflict the day before - after the quarrel she left her husband and went to another area.

Police quickly identified the attacker's identity and detained him at his place of residence. On April 30, he was suspected of premeditated murder under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The issue of choosing a preventive measure is currently being resolved, and a pre -trial investigation is ongoing.

According to the law, the man faces from 7 to 15 years in prison.
