Vivienne Jenna Wilson, the transgender daughter of the famous billionaire Elon Musk, said that after the possible re-election of Donald Trump to the post of the US president, she intends to leave the country. Expressing concern about the changing political climate and the implications for the LGBT community, Wilson emphasized that the atmosphere that could lead to a Trump victory is unacceptable to her.
Vivienne Jenna Wilson, the transgender daughter of the famous entrepreneur Elon Musk, announced her decision to leave the United States after the victory of Donald Trump in the presidential elections.
She announced this on the Threads social network.
Vivien noted that she had been thinking about moving for a long time, but the result of the election finally pushed her to this step.
"I don't see my future in the United States. Even if Trump stays in office for only four years , the people who voluntarily voted for him will not disappear anywhere in the near future," said Vivien, expressing concern about the atmosphere in the country and the possible consequences for the LGBT community.
Elon Musk, known for his support of Trump, actively participated in his election campaign: he spoke at rallies, donated about $75 million and spent the evening after the vote at Trump's residence. Musk and Vivienne have a complicated relationship, which is especially strained after Vivienne's transgender transition in 2022. Musk called the decision the result of the "tolerance virus" and claimed he was misled into signing a consent form for gender reassignment surgery.
Vivienne's public criticism of her father was supported by singer Grimes, Musk's former partner.
