In 2023, Ukrainians used almost 125 million medical services through the Helsi platform, which includes doctor's appointments, various procedures and diagnostic examinations. The company analyzed user requests, identifying the main problems with which they turned to doctors.
Kyiv (4,921,281), Kharkiv (2,414,216) and Odesa (1,951,478) became the leaders in terms of the number of applications from large cities. According to the report, Ukrainians most often turned to family doctors, the growth of this indicator was almost 11% compared to the previous year. Also popular were the services of pediatricians, which were used about 7.5 million times.
CEO of Helsi, Yevhen Donets, noted the positive trend in the appointment of primary care doctors due to the convenient choice on the platform. According to him, Helsi provides access to the largest number of verified doctors with accreditation in Ukraine.
Statistics indicate the popularity of some diagnoses, such as acute upper respiratory tract infection (4,435,716), uncomplicated hypertension (2,219,540) and coronary heart disease without angina (1,354,149). It was noted that attention to prevention increased, and 7,523,904 Ukrainians paid attention to their physical and psychological health.
Regarding COVID-19, three cases of the Pyrola subvariant were recorded in December. More than 10 million vaccinations have been administered per year, including covid vaccinations, which are easily accessed through Helsi.
The platform also noted the increased interest of Ukrainians in mental health in 2023. It was noted that 45,752 people received a diagnosis of a depressive disorder, and each patient received more than 17 services in an average year. Helsi emphasizes the importance of seeing a doctor if symptoms of depression are detected.
It should be noted that more than 6.5 million users of the Helsi mobile application used more than 7 million consultations every month.
