This is despite the fact that the official income of the couple did not exceed one million hryvnias during the year.
According to the declaration, the wife of police officer Irina Avagimova works in LLC "Imperal plant" and received a salary worth UAH 165 thousand. Ashot Avagimov himself earned 708 thousand hryvnias in the office of police. In total - 980.6 thousand UAH.
Nevertheless, Irina Avagimova declared $ 79,000 in cash, and the police himself - another $ 18,000.
The couple is registered in Kharkiv, but actually lives in the village of Slobozhansk Dnipropetrovsk region. Their house (119 m²) has been leased since 2017, but the cost of renting in the declaration is not specified.
Several real estate objects are decorated for his wife, among them - a house in Kharkiv with an area of 106 m² and a land plot in Kharkiv region. Also in 2016, Irina Avagimova, together with Anna Avagimova (probably daughter) purchased an apartment in Kharkiv with an area of 199.5 m² for only $ 18.5 thousand, which raises doubts about the real market value of such an object.

Ashot Avagimov's declaration attracted the attention of anti -corruption experts: low prices for real estate, a large amount of cash and the purchase of an expensive car with modest official income may indicate the need to check the legality of property.
