In the Dnieper Inspector of the medical institution was detained on a bribe for the commission of a wounded soldier

In the Dnieper, law enforcement officers exposed the scheme of trade in the decisions of the Military Medical Commission. The inspector of one of the medical institutions, which was exposed on a bribe of $ 4,000, was suspected. This was reported by the Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Eastern Region.

According to the investigation, a serviceman who has combat injuries and injuries turned to the VLK due to impaired health. Despite the obvious medical grounds for commission, the process was artificially delayed.

This was used by the former deputy head of the hospital, and now the inspector of the institution. He suggested "help" in solving the issue - to influence the members of the VLK in order to make a decision on unfitness for military service. Price is $ 4,000.

In May 2025, the inspector received the first part of the bribe - $ 2,500. The second part of the money was handed over to the day when the commission was concluded. However, contrary to the promises, the commission did not happen - the serviceman was only recognized as limited to the service, with the right to be transferred to the rear.

The suspect was detained during the transfer of the second part of the bribe. During the searches, $ 2,500 was seized in his apartment - the same amount that was transferred earlier.

The prosecutor's office is currently resolving the issue of a precautionary measure. History confirms once again - even at the front of the struggle for life, not everyone is honored. Unfortunately, instead of protection - health trade.
