An underground city with an area of 236,000 m² may appear in Kharkiv. According to the project, schools, a park, hospitals, shopping centers and co-working spaces are planned. This was announced by the Mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov.
According to him, the city is looking for investors to build a safe space underground. EUR 225 million is required in advance.
"A school, medical facilities, parking lots, co-working spaces and shopping centers will be built there. It is very important for people to feel safe," said Terekhov.
The underground center is planned to be built in the central part of the city. It will be possible to enter it from the metro station, and a park area will be arranged on the surface.
