In Kharkiv region, a man who is accused of fraud in particularly large sizes will appear before the court. According to the State Bureau of Investigation, the attacker offered employment in the central office of the DBR for $ 20,000.
The investigation found that the accused learned about the interest of one of the citizens to work in the bureau and assured him that he had "ties", which allowed him to obtain a position without the competition. According to the fraudster, the candidate only had to formally take the test, and all other stages would allegedly provide third parties.
In addition, the attacker promised the client to register the status of a candidate, which gives the reservation from mobilization at the time of "employment".
The first meeting between men took place on February 19, 2025 in the sleeping area of Kharkiv. There, the fraudster demanded the first tranche of $ 10,000.
In order to give the impression of an influential person, the person involved arrived on the SUV with special signals, dressed in a military uniform with a chevron of one of the law enforcement agencies. It was during the transfer of funds that it was detained by operatives.
Currently, the man is charged with Part 4 of Art. 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - fraud committed in particularly large sizes. He faces up to 8 years in prison.
