Lightning hit the temple in Khmelnytskyi

In the Khmelnytsky region, lightning caused a large -scale fire in a cult building. The State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported the incident.

An extraordinary event occurred after a lightning strike during a thunderstorm. The flame instantly swept a large part of the building - the total area of ​​ignition was 250 square meters. The most affected the roof that partially collapsed, complicating the work of firefighters. New cells of fire were formed under the rubble.

Rescuers acted in extreme conditions, but they reacted promptly and were able to localize the fire, preventing it from spreading to other structures. The fire was completely eliminated.

Despite serious losses, it was without the victims and the dead. The circumstances of the event are clarified, but the preliminary reason is the direct hit of lightning.
