In the capital, police detained a man who brutally beat his friend during a drunken quarrel. The incident happened in the Holosiivskyi district. The victim of the owner of the apartment, a 52-year-old resident of Kiev, hospitalized an ambulance with numerous injuries, including heads.
According to the press service of the capital police, they were approached by ambulance physicians, who found the victim with serious bodily injuries. Police found that the tragedy occurred during the feast.
“He was staying in the victim's apartment from Sumy region. During the joint drinking of alcoholic beverages, there was a household quarrel between men, which grew into a fight. The guest grabbed a wooden stool and struck a few blows on the head. After the victim fell, the attacker continued to beat him until he stopped resistance, ” police said.
Law enforcement officers promptly detained a 51-year-old attacker. He was suspected of causing deliberate grievous bodily harm. The man faces up to eight years in prison.
This incident was another reminder of the danger of conflict against the background of alcohol abuse. Police calls citizens to restraint in such situations, as a ill -advised act can lead to serious criminal consequences.
The investigation is ongoing and the victim is under the supervision of doctors.
