Kyivmiskvitlo utility company plans a large -scale updating of external lighting networks in the Pechersk district of the capital. Outdated mercury and sodium lamps will replace with modern energy efficient LED lamps. Currently, project documentation is being prepared for a number of streets, including Lavra, Lesya Ukrainka Boulevard, Ostrozki Princes, General Diamozov, Mechnikova and Klovsky Uzviz.
According to advertisements in the ProZorro public procurement system, on June 30, two auctions are planned for the selection of developer of prose documentation. For overhaul of external lighting networks on the street. Lavra has already allocated UAH 1 million. In addition to replacing the lamps, the project provides for renewal of architectural and decorative illumination of such sign objects as the church of all saints, the Trinity Church of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, a memorial of memory of Afghan soldiers and a monument to the chronicler.
Another 1 million hryvnias are provided for the replacement of lighting within Lesya Ukrainka Boulevard, the streets of the Ostrozki princes, General Diamozov, Mechnikov and Klovsky descent. The total development of the project documentation is by October 30, 2025.
The work is funded at the expense of the city's budget, in particular through the Department of Transport Infrastructure. Upon completion of the documentation, the estimated cost of the work will be determined and the overhaul is started directly.
The lighting update will not only increase the quality of street light, but also ensure energy efficiency, reduce electricity costs and improve safety on the roads and near sign cultural objects.
