The communal enterprise "Spetszhitlofond" of the Kyiv City Council announced the start of construction of a new residential complex on the territory of the industrial zone at 40 Kachalova Street. The total cost of the project is 1 billion hryvnias. This project is part of the city's development strategy aimed at the renewal and transformation of industrial areas into residential quarters that meet modern standards.
One agreement for the construction of sections 2 and 4 for UAH 341 million has already been concluded. It is also expected to conclude an agreement on the sixth stage of construction worth UAH 718 million.
According to the order of the KMDA, the sixth stage of construction was intended for ATO veterans and people who need to improve living conditions. The city will pay 30% of the cost of housing for citizens waiting for an apartment and 50% for ATO participants.
It is interesting that in the estimates for these two constructions, the prices of building materials differ significantly. Concrete and reinforcement for the sixth stage are one and a half times cheaper than for the second. Although they plan to build houses in one place.
The only difference is that the second contract with more expensive building materials was awarded to the company, which is the first contract in the history of its existence.
