An official of one of the regional departments of the capital's administration is in custody on charges of cooperation with the ex-prime minister of Ukraine and organizing propaganda activities on his behalf through the Telegram channel.
The woman has been charged with several serious charges under the Criminal Code of Ukraine, for which she faces severe punishment. The indictment in this case has already been sent to the court, the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine reported.
It is known that the mentioned official started cooperating with the former Prime Minister of Ukraine back in 2015 and continued this activity even after the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into the territory of Ukraine and the missile attack on the capital.
The woman actively ran social networks on behalf of her "boss" and organized propaganda activities through his Telegram channel. In addition, she coordinated anti-Ukrainian interviews and comments for the Russian mass media.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, she prepared the anti-Ukrainian statements of the ex-prime minister in her Telegram channel even on the day of the start of the full-scale invasion, illustrating the post with photos of the destruction of the capital.
It is important to note that at the time of the crime, the accused held the position of head of the organizational department in one of the district administrations of the capital.
Experts analyzed the content published by the former official and subjected it to examination. The conclusion states that she was the author of the content, which contained a public call for a violent change in the established constitutional system of Ukraine.
The woman will be tried on the facts of calls for violent change and overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power, encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, as well as for justifying and recognizing as legitimate the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine (Articles 28, 109, 110, 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
She is currently in custody and awaiting trial.
