The Shevchenkivsky District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv has completed a pre -trial investigation and submitted to court an indictment against a woman suspected of attempting to influence state bodies for corruption.
According to the investigation, the accused suggested the military who was wanted due to the failure of the Military Medical Commission (VLK), to assist in his withdrawal. She estimated her services at $ 4,000.
At the same time, the woman convinced the client that the issue would not be resolved in Kiev, but in another area where a man supposedly had to undergo a formal medical examination. In addition, she promised to promote the reservation of the conscript - for an additional, higher amount.
During the transfer of the stipulated amount, the woman was detained by law enforcement officers in accordance with Art. 208 of the CPC of Ukraine. At the request of the prosecutor's office for all its property - both movable and real estate - arrest.
Its actions are qualified under Part 3 of Art. 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine-obtaining undue benefits in order to influence the decision of the official.
The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a term of 3 to 8 years with confiscation of property.
The operational support of the case was carried out by the Department of Internal Security of the National Police, and the pre -trial investigation was conducted by investigators of the Shevchenkivsky Police Department of Kyiv.
