In Kyiv, law enforcement officers detained a 22-year-old head of a law firm, who is suspected of illegal operations to help conscripts go abroad. According to the information of law enforcement agencies, this man promised his clients the receipt of documents on postponement of conscription or removal from military registration for a significant fee.
The law enforcement officers reported the suspicion to the 22-year-old head of a law firm, who helped conscripted men go abroad. This was reported in the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office.
Investigators established that the detainee was looking for conscripted men who wanted to illegally cross the border on the company's page in social networks under the guise of providing legal services. He promised to help the petitioners to obtain the necessary documents on postponement of conscription for military service, as well as conclusions of military medical commissions for removal from military registration.
The man demanded from 10 to 15 thousand dollars for his services. During the pre-trial investigation, the law enforcement officers documented a number of facts of his receipt of money.
The head of the law firm was charged with facilitating the illegal transportation of persons across the state border and obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Part 3 of Article 332, Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Currently, law enforcement officers are establishing the involvement of other persons in the commission of a criminal offense.
