Ukraine has opened about two dozen recruiting centers for the ranks of the country's Armed Forces. According to the information of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umyerov, among the professions for which there is a special demand, those that have more in common with civilian life prevail.
According to the minister, recruiting centers in Ukraine were created so that mobilization took place in more civilian conditions.
Umyerov noted that about 20 recruitment centers for the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already been opened in Ukraine, and new centers will appear in the regions. The head of the Ministry of Defense added that vacancies closer to civilian life are in the greatest demand.
"We gave all these positions to companies that deal with human capital, so that they, together with us, manage this process more professionally. Today, drivers, mechanics, people who want to use drones, more civilian positions - they are in great demand," Umyerov said.
Mobilization was declared in Ukraine from the beginning of the full-scale invasion, and it was extended at least until August 11, 2024.
A new law on mobilization was also adopted in Ukraine. It will fully enter into force on May 18. In addition, Ukraine started recruiting for the army. The main difference from mobilization is that people can independently choose the military profession or unit where they want to serve.
