The cycle of courses "Professional development on issues of joint governance in the system of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine" for civil servants, servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Administration of the State Special Transport Service has begun.
This was announced on the official website of the Ministry of Defense.
According to information from the department, "the three-level model (main, functional, auxiliary) of joint governance in the system of the Ministry of Defense is based on the practical experience of already existing defense models of EU countries and NATO member states."
The courses were developed together with experts of international technical support of the PROTECT 2 project of the National Defense University of Ukraine by order of the Department of Military Policy and Strategic Planning of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
It is indicated that the multi-level network of special permanent committees, commissions and councils contributes to effective and transparent decision-making and corporate management in defense structures.
The First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavlyuk noted: "Joint governance is not only a form of decision-making, the use of which increases the efficiency of management. It is also an element of truly systemic changes on the path of Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic integration. Last year, we worked out methodological recommendations for the implementation of a system of joint governance in the Ministry. It's time to integrate them."
