In the first three months of 2025, more than 3.1 thousand mobile phones were stolen or lost in Ukraine. This is evidenced by the data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which have analyzed the service of "Openatable".
The total number of such incidents is 3191, which is almost 34% less than in the same period of 2024. For comparison, the Ukrainians lost or stated 19 463 smartphones throughout last year, which is 33% less than in 2023.
The most abducted and losses were recorded in the capital - 352 cases, or 11% of the total. Further in anti -rating - Zaporizhzhya (331 cases) and Kyiv regions (330 cases). The most peaceful situation in the Kherson region, where only 4 such cases are registered.
Traditionally, three brands - Xiaomi, Samsung and iPhone are being stolen or lost. They account for almost 70% of all reported cases in 2025. In particular:

Xiaomi - 997 cases;

Samsung - 638;

iPhone - 573.
According to the dynamics of recent years, the total number of theft and loss of phones is gradually reduced. The reasons for this trend can be both a decrease in the mobility of the population in war and to improve the technical means of protecting devices.
