People's deputies recorded hundreds of overdue penalties for traffic violations

As of June 2025, 210 out of 399 current People's Deputies of Ukraine are in the status of debtors. The vast majority of these proceedings relate to non -payment of penalties for traffic violations. Such data have been published in the open access based on information from enforcement proceedings.

The highest number of penalties were recorded by the People's Deputy from the European Solidarity Party Mikhail Bondar - 99 proceedings. According to the deputy himself, this is due to the fact that he draws up cars that distills for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and the violation of the traffic regulations is already carried out by the military who use these cars.

The second place in the number of enforcement proceedings is a representative of the "servant of the people" faction Igor Negulevsky. It has 38 open proceedings, of which 24 - for overdue penalties for traffic violations.

In third place, another "servant of the people" - Vladimir Timofeychuk. He recorded 25 proceedings, of which 11 are also for violation of traffic rules.

Among the deputies who have more than 10 overdue fines are:

  • Oleksandr Feldman ("Restoration of Ukraine");

  • Vasily Virastyuk ("servant of the people");

  • Artem Dmitruk is a former people's deputy who is currently wanted;

  • Alexander Sukhov ("trust");

  • Andriy Odarchenko is an exnarde, convicted of bribery.

Despite the fact that some of the violations may be related to business trips or humanitarian activities, the scale of overdue penalties raise questions about the liability of parliamentarians before the law.
