On the evening of July 11, a brutal attack took place in the center of Warsaw: a 20-year-old citizen of Ukraine was injured. According to the Polish media, the attacker-a 23-year-old resident-suddenly attacked the Ukrainian, causing him serious injuries to his head and neck.
The victim was hospitalized in a critical condition. Doctors fight for his life.
The attacker fled from the crime scene, but the next day he was detained. Patrol service, criminal police and operatives participated in the search. Thanks to the operational work of law enforcement officers, it was possible to quickly identify the person and location of the attacker.
As it turned out, the detainee was already repeatedly convicted - for fights, attacks and other violent acts. During the search, a telescopic stick and gas cans were found in his apartment.
The prosecutor's office brought him a charge. The Warsaw Court has already decided to take the suspect in arrest. For attempted life using a machete, he is threatened with life imprisonment.
