On the night of July 24 to 25, 2025, a large-scale search operation was launched in the Vyshgorod district of Kyiv region due to the disappearance of a 5-year-old boy named Sashko. His mother went to police around 22:00 on July 24, reporting that the child had disappeared from the courtyard of his own house in the village of Zaprudka.
Police, rescuers, military, and locals immediately went in search. Modern technologies provided a lot of help - the unmanned aircraft (UAV) joined the search in the forest area.
The night was warm, so, fortunately, the baby did not freeze and did not get injured. On the morning of July 25, the boy was found - he just got lost during a walk.
Law enforcement officers confirmed that the child did not fall victim to the crime, and his life and health were not in danger. The event ended happily due to the coordinated work of the police, rescuers, military and communities.
