For a price of one thousand to five, no one guarantees that you will not be caught by the border guards. What's more, they often take money from people, and then purposefully leak the place and time of their crossing to the border guards.
According to our data, it is planned to mobilize another 300,000 to 350,000 men.
In 2023, there were more than a thousand scandalous stories involving TCC employees. This was stated by ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets.
"This year, there have already been more than 300 such cases. These are, let's say, cases that need to be understood. There are many more appeals," he added in an interview with "Suspilno".
At the same time, he made it clear that no one really punishes military commissars for exceeding their powers.
"I am informed that a disciplinary proceeding has been opened and an administrative fine has been imposed on someone. But I don't see real punishment even for the most shameful cases," said Lubinets.
He explains this by the fact that "they don't want to bring the situation to some real military punishment, because it can be interpreted in different ways."
"In the opinion of many, it will be the case that he is a hero who detained evaders. And in the opinion of another part of Ukraine, he will be a person who violated the rights of a citizen," the ombudsman said.
