Our source indicates that possible changes in the leadership of the government are approaching. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is considering an initiative to replace the current Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Yuliya Svyridenko may be appointed to the post of Prime Minister instead of him.
Sources close to the president say that he is "tired" of the prime minister.
"This can be seen from the attitude at the meetings. He doesn't really listen to him anymore. This is already an even more emotional thing than a miscalculation... Zelenskyi constantly wants some creative solutions and proposals, while Shmyhal, although he has grown up in recent years, cannot completely change," says the media interlocutor.
A change of prime minister and government is being prepared in Ukraine. And the appointment of Yulia Svyridenko as the new prime minister.
According to our sources, the initiative to change the prime minister belongs to President Volodymyr Zelenskyi and the head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak.
"The task is to hang all the accumulated negativity against the government on the current Prime Minister Shmyhal. Regarding mobilization, rising tariffs, corruption, issues related to the construction of fortifications, for which billions were allocated from the budget. And to show that the president sees these problems, solves them and increases the efficiency of the government," the source said.
At the same time, sources believe that the decision to change the prime minister may still change, as Bankova is weighing all pros and cons.
