Ukraine is preparing to introduce an electronic office of conscripts: details from the Ministry of Defense have been revealed

The electronic office for conscripts is planned to be launched in the second quarter of 2024, Deputy Defense Minister Kateryna Chornogorenko said during a telethon.

"We plan to introduce this possibility at the beginning of the second quarter, as soon as the new law comes into force. This is a rather short term for the introduction of such tools, one might say, almost instantaneous," Chornogorenko noted.

In the conscript's office, it will be possible to update the data without visiting the territorial recruitment centers, and these data will be automatically used by the territorial recruitment centers, she explained.

According to the adopted draft law No. 10062, which provides for the digitalization of the army, the improvement of interaction between the registers and the expansion of the list of information about conscripts, reservists and conscripts in the "Oberig" system are noted. This will simplify the procedure for obtaining data, avoiding unnecessary bureaucracy and the need to submit documents.

"Now it will not be necessary to transport a large number of documents. We will be able to receive relevant data in real time from other registers," the deputy minister added.

Chornogorenko emphasized that the registry will be located on the territory of Ukraine, is already functioning and uses a complex information protection system.
