Ukraine is creating the first state infrastructure for the development of artificial intelligence — AI Factory. The project was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, emphasizing the ambitious goal — to become one of the three world leaders in the level of development and implementation of AI by 2030.
AI Factory will become the technological foundation for the deployment of state AI services. This includes modern hardware, water-cooled server rooms, GPU computing clusters, software for training models, monitoring, automation, and integration with state registries and data tools.
An important feature of the new center is that data processing will take place within the country, which guarantees a higher level of technological security.
AI Factory will provide:
-
deployment of state AI services, in particular in the "Diya" application, where the first AI assistant will appear;
-
training specialists who will work on the development and implementation of AI solutions for medicine, science, and defense;
-
creating its own infrastructure as the basis of Ukraine's AI sovereignty.
The project will allow Ukraine to strengthen its position in the global technology space, while increasing the efficiency of digital government services and maintaining control over critical data.
