The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, expressed confidence that regardless of the party ties of the future American president, the United States will continue to support Ukraine due to consideration of strategic interests.
When answering questions about Washington's continued support for Ukraine after the US presidential election, Kuleba noted that, although historically Democrats have shown less interest in conflict with Russia, President Joe Biden has shown great understanding of Ukraine and is actively helping the country.
At the same time, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs pointed out that the Republicans traditionally show a greater readiness to fight Russia, and emphasized that the possible Republican candidate, Donald Trump, has different views on relations with Ukraine and Russia.
Dmytro Kuleba concluded that aid to Ukraine corresponds to the strategic interests of the United States, and emphasized that the country will be able to win regardless of who heads the American presidency.
