Ukraine and Romania have officially concluded an agreement on cooperation in the field of 5G technology development, restoration of telecommunication networks and strengthening of their stability. As RegioNews reports with reference to the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, the parties agreed on specific measures aimed at increasing the stability of Ukrainian Internet networks, expanding 5G corridors between the two countries, and Ukraine's participation in financial support programs of the European Union.
The minister also announced that Romania will provide assistance in the restoration of the digital infrastructure damaged by the conflict. "We thank the Minister of Research, Innovation and Digitalization of Romania Bohdan Grui Ivan for his willingness to cooperate. Now we will start implementing joint projects with the financial support of the European Union," Fedorov added.
