Today, July 8, after a missile attack by Russian forces on the "Okhmatdyt" children's hospital in Kyiv, where, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, people were killed, Ukraine is initiating the convening of an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council. Zelenskyi said there was evidence of a direct hit by an enemy missile, rejecting Russia's information about Ukrainian air defense as the cause of the strike.
Today, July 8, around 09:40, Russian forces launched missile strikes on various regions of Ukraine. Currently, 28 dead and 112 injured are known.
During the massive missile attack, the Russian Federation launched 38 missiles of various types, of which Ukrainian air defense destroyed 30.
Among other objects, the Russians attacked the "Okhmatdit" children's hospital in Kyiv, where two people died, and it is possible that more people died under the rubble.
