Popular singer Ilya Parfenyuk, known by his stage name Parfeniuk, became a real discovery on the Ukrainian scene after the release of the track "Vrubay." The song, which appeared more than a year ago, instantly went viral on social networks and brought the artist a resounding success.
Recently, the artist's team shared the details of the creation of this hit and announced the financial results. According to representatives, about 16 thousand euros were invested in the production of "Vrubai". The amount included expenses for sound design, shooting a video and a promotional campaign.
The investment was fully justified: in just one year, the song collected 136 million streams on streaming platforms. The profit from the song amounted to 98.7 thousand euros.
The creative producer of the project, Oleksandra Stepenko, explained the phenomenal success of the track. In her opinion, listeners were struck by the light and cheerful vibe of the composition, which has long been lacking in Ukrainian pop music. An important factor was also the successful TikTok campaign: a video where Parfeniuk dances to her own song launched a real flash mob on the Internet.
Thus, "Vrubai" became not only a musical hit, but also an example of how a well-thought-out promotion strategy can turn an investment of tens of thousands of euros into a profit of almost a hundred thousand.
