The Ukrainian company KVERTUS, which specializes in the production of radio electronic intelligence systems (RAP) and radio electronic struggle (IDP), has started the realization of the ambitious project "Atlas". Its main goal is to create a large -scale system of protection against drones along the front line more than 1300 kilometers.
According to Defense Express, Atlas will become an intellectual system that combines radio electronic intelligence, mutual signals of enemy drones and the possibility of synchronization with their own UAVs. One of the main advantages of the system is its remote control - the operator will be able to control all processes through a protected server, which significantly reduces the risks to the Ukrainian military.
The advantages of the Atlas system
According to Kvertus, the main features of the new system:
- A significant radius of action that exceeds the possibility of modern analogues.
- Effective suppression of enemy drones, invisible to the enemy radio reconnaissance.
- Long autonomous work, which increases its efficiency on the battlefield.
- Lack of Chinese and other foreign technologies, which guarantees reliability and independence from external suppliers.
- Trophy protection - even if the enemy receives the system, he will not be able to use it or reveal its technologies.
One Atlas system is able to provide 25-50 km of high security on the line of combat collision.
The project is implemented with the support of the Brave1 defense cluster and its value is estimated at UAH 5.2 billion.
