A conference on the creation of a single medical space for Ukrainian defenders was held in Lviv, which was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defense and military hospitals.
According to the Department of Health Protection of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, this event is aimed at unifying the country's medical resources to improve the provision of medical care to all citizens, including military personnel and veterans.
The participants of the conference discussed the development of cooperation between military and civilian medical institutions, improvement of evacuation routes, the work of civilian medical institutions in the combat zone, as well as the issue of medical staff in non-medical positions and treatment of military personnel abroad.
Issues related to the use of antibiotics in wounds, approval of new clinical protocols for the treatment of combat trauma, and the introduction of a medical information system in military medicine were discussed separately.
