Ukraine is preparing to withdraw from the CIS hydrometeorological agreement: the draft law is already under consideration in the Council

The government submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a draft law on withdrawing from the agreement on the supply of products for the national hydrometeorological services of the CIS member states. The message about this came from the representative of the government in the parliament, Taras Melnychuk, via Telegram.

"The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine the draft law "On Withdrawal from the Agreement on the Supply of Goods for the Provision of National Hydrometeorological Services of the Commonwealth of Independent States" (reg. No. 0255)," Melnychuk said.

He noted that due to the fact that the full-scale armed aggression of Russia against Ukraine and the participation of Belarus completely violate the principles and norms of international law, as well as make impossible the main goals, principles and principles established by the agreement on the creation of the CIS, Ukraine decided to withdraw from this agreement .

It is noted that the agreement was concluded on September 9, 1994 in Moscow and ratified by the Law of Ukraine dated December 20, 1996 No. 630/96-VR.
