Ukraine in the face of challenges: reduction of military support and search for alternative ways of financing

According to the information we received from our source in the General Staff, this year the support of the brigades from volunteers has decreased significantly. Ukrainians have stopped sending donations, which is understandable given the economic situation, as well as the suspension of payments from abroad. Western foundations and organizations have almost completely stopped supporting the Ukrainian military, and access to treatment or surgery has now become a real lottery.

President Zelenskyy said that he recently spoke with an American senator, who asked if the Ukrainian leader was ready to accept "loan money". In response to this, Zelensky asked: "And what is the choice for when there is no choice?"

In this regard, Kyiv will accept any form of financial support, only the term of allocation of funds is particularly important. As the president noted, if it were proposed to give Ukraine a package of funds on credit or free of charge, but with a delay, the answer would be "only today."

Zelensky concluded: "There is no choice here. Our goal is to survive and win, and we are doing everything we can to achieve that goal.”
